The Inside 5 Step Guide.

Try to make it easy for buyers to visualise themselves living in your home. Try to dress it as if it was a luxury hotel room you were trying to sell on the internet. These are the 5 steps we always employ along with links to local people who want to help:
Declutter: You have to be ruthless…. Anything that’s in the way or makes your room look smaller has to go. …. You don’t have to sell it, just put it in storage …. You’re moving … so move some stuff now…. It will actually make things easier when you move later anyway… So it’s a good thing.![]()
Neutralise: If you have bold colours on the floors or walls it is time to neutralise them. Go round any interior designers house and you’ll find the walls are white and the floors are neutral. The colour is usually in the soft furnishings and pictures.![]()
Reset: Re-dress your room making sure it has an identity and flow. No more than 3 things on any shelf and only one if it is small, make the beds, dress the tables, plump the cushions, swish the curtains and you’re nearly there. ![]()
Remember 30% of value of your home lies within how it looks and feels.
Final Clean : Once you have finished the room give it a final clean and then admire your work and look to see if there are any last minute things which could make it pop.![]()
Photogragh: Property photography is an art so if you are not handy with a camera, get a professional in as the photos are your window to the world.![]()
On to the big ticket items ...
